Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement, and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only for pleasure or to aid in growing, but that she must explore it. In the end, she began writing songs of her own. Alongside Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother had told her the songs she composed were not meant to make her famous rather to help people to realize their own value and impact on this world, she began performing them publicly. She was suggested by her mother to sing her songs in public so that people can see their own importance and how they can affect the world. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached fourteen. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. According to her, she simply likes to write songs. To her music, it is the best way to express anything.
